Far, far in the North, on the cold shores of lake Näsijärvi, lives a creature called Räpylät. He spends his days catching walking fish and cooking them in his sound-kitchen into funky, smelly Suomi-tracks. So drink your beers and lick your fingers and get ready for Kitchen Nightmares!
Räpylät is a one man project from Tampere, Finland by Vlado Chovan. He started to make music already in his early childhood in Slovakia,
playing in various bands. When he moved to Finland in 2004 he started to organize dub parties with his friends and making his own psydub tunes as Outovalo in Dub. He soon discovered his love for Suomisaundi and started to experiment on creating his own. Räpylät was born in 2011 and has quickly developed into the sounds you hear today. His musical influences come from his Slovak heritage, 80's and 90's Finnish music, dub, italo-disco and other Suomisaundi artists. Break the boundaries with the blue flippers and the walking fish.
